We are gearing up for a great season! We have diligently been working to improve all aspects of the program. We added some great additions to our coaching staff. Take a look below. Little Lancer's Wrestling Program 

The program is for children in grades K-6 and is designed to introduce the sport of wrestling. The practices are designed to educate the wrestlers on the basic fundamentals of the sport, and to promote discipline and self confidence. Tournament participation is optional and tournaments are held on Sundays throughout the season at various locations. Registration is on both Sunday October 4 and Sunday October 25 from 4:30-6:00pm in the LaSalle Wrestling Room located in the DeLaSalle Annex behind the High School. The cost is $60 per child. Any student from 1st through 6th grade is encouraged to be e apart of the wrestling program.  The season starts mid November and continues through mid February. Practices will be held twice a week. High School Coaching Staff  

Avery Zerkle : A two time State Placer, State Champion and an All-American at Graham High School . He is a graduate of Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania where he was a two time NCAA Division I National Qualifier. After graduation, Avery coached at Graham for five years. During those five years, the team won the Division II State Championship each year. Two years prior to him coming to La Salle , he had been the Head Coach at Springboro High School .

Randolph Smith : Head coach for Lincoln Heights Youth Wrestling Program for over 25 years. He as the former head coach at Winton Woods and Hughes High School in which he had two high school state finalists. Randolph has been a mentor and youth coach to numerous state placers and champs in the greater Cincinnati area. He is affectionately called “Coach Pine” by all in the Cincinnati area.

Jeff Byrd : Graduate of Mt. Healthy High School. Jeff is a long time youth coach in the Cincinnati area for St. Al's Bridgetown . His son Max was a State placer last year as a Freshman.

Steve Blunk: Graduated in 2004 from Streetsboro High School where he was a four time state finalist and won the state as a senior. He then joined the military where he found his interest in flying. Steve is currently finishing school to become a helicopter pilot.

Joe Kaake: Graduated from La Salle High School in 2005. He currently holds the record for most wins at La Salle with 129. He was a two time state qualifier and placed 6 th in the state as a senior. He is currently attending school at NKU.

Lou Carraher : Graduated from St. Xavier High School . He placed 6 th in the state as a senior. Lou is currently a Pre-Med student at the University of Cincinnati.

Zach Barge: Currently a junior studying psychology at NKU. Zach was a two time District Qualifier at Colerain. He also coached at Colerain last season.

Kerry Smyth: Has been coaching at Western Hills for the last several years. We are excited to have him step in as the head coach for the Pee Wee program.
